Mazda UK Managing Director, Jeremy Thomson officially opens Eden Motor Group’s new Exeter dealership

Having started trading on the 1^st May, Eden Mazda Exeter was officially opened this week with a ribbon cutting ceremony by Mazda UK, Managing Director, Jeremy Thomson. Located in a prominent location on the Marsh Barton Trading Estate, the new Mazda dealer for Exeter is the latest Mazda dealer to be added to the Eden Motor Group portfolio of dealerships. With 20 dealerships across the south of England the customer focused group already has Mazda dealerships in Basingstoke, Reading, Newbury and Taunton.  

Commenting on its new dealership in Devon’s county town, Graeme Potts Eden Motor Retail Ltd CEO, said: “I am delighted that Eden has expanded its Mazda representation with the addition of Exeter, a key location for us following a strong Eden presence in the area since 2008. This latest development further strengthens our relationship with Mazda, with Exeter becoming our fifth Mazda dealership. We are happy to be enhancing the Mazda offering for our mutual customers across the South-West, building on our established Mazda dealership in Taunton and driving the next phase of growth together.”

Both Eden Mazda Taunton and Eden Mazda Basingstoke took category wins in the 2026 Mazda All Stars dealer performance Awards and commenting on the Eden Group’s take over as Mazda’s dealer representative in Exeter, Mazda UK, Managing Director, Jeremy Thomson, said: “having grown up in Exeter I have a particular desire to ensure the Mazda brand is strongly represented and provides outstanding service to our customers, current and future, across the whole of Devon”.

With the all-new Mazda CX-5 and the all-new Mazda6e now in Eden Exeter’s showroom, the new dealership has got off to a successful start, being one of the first dealers nationally to hit their Mazda6e pre-order objectives with the first customer cars already being delivered.
